Typical User Journeys

The true strength of the Artinals system emerges when the ART20, SALE, and TRADE modules are combined into cohesive user journeys. Together, these modules cover the entire lifecycle of an NFT—from creation and distribution to trading and liquidity provision—within a single, interoperable environment. Below we explore typical user flows, illustrating how each module interacts and supporting scripts or transaction patterns that leverage these integrated capabilities.

Typical User Journeys

  1. Artist/Creator:

    • ART20: Define and mint a new NFT collection, setting maximum supply and metadata.

    • SALE: List freshly minted NFTs at a fixed price for initial buyers.

    • TRADE: After some NFTs are distributed, set up a liquidity pool to allow continuous trading and price discovery.

  2. Collector/Buyer:

    • SALE: Discover and purchase NFTs directly from a sale, paying a fixed price.

    • TRADE: Utilize liquidity pools to buy additional NFTs dynamically, perhaps at a better price or to access rarer tokens.

  3. Liquidity Provider:

    • ART20: Acquire NFTs from a collection you believe will have trading volume.

    • TRADE: Add those NFTs plus some tokens to a trading pool, earning fees as other users trade against your liquidity.

  4. Advanced Trader:

    • SALE: Buy NFTs from a sale when prices are favorable.

    • TRADE: Sell those NFTs into a trading pool at a potentially higher price, or arbitrage between different pools and sales.
