# Minting ART20 NFTs

**`mint_art20(...)`** (during collection creation) and\
\&#xNAN;**`mint_additional_art20(...)`** (to add more NFTs after initial creation)\
These functions mint new NFTs within the bounds of the collection’s max supply, update the `current_supply`, and emit events for new NFTs minted.
